I’m excited to share the latest updates and enhancements to our website since the last post.

Navigation Features:

1. Desktop Layout: The top of the page now includes different STFTM Chapters.
2. Contact Page: Removed duplicate listings. It’s now available on the left sidebar under “Community” on both Desktop and Mobile.
3. Group Admins Page: Moved to the left sidebar under “Community.”
4. Icons and Links: Updated several icons and corrected links that weren’t functioning properly.

Social Messaging Features:

1. Private Messaging: Enhanced with websockets for real-time data transmission.
2. Typing Indicators: See when others are typing in private or group messages.
3. Status Icons: A green icon now shows if you are active on the site, visible to others when they message you.
4. GIFs: Enabled GIFs via GIPHY to add more expression to your chats.
5. Audio Calls: Real-time voice calls with other members are now possible via websockets.
6. Video Calls: Video chat is now available on both Mobile and Desktop devices.
7. Group Chats: You can now have group chats with unlimited members, and share photos, videos, and documents.
8. Group Calls/Video Chat: Host group voice calls or video chats for meetings or discussions.

Groups (Chapters):

1. Group Membership: Join multiple groups (chapters) and receive notifications for new posts.
2. Galleries: Post photos and videos directly to chapter-specific galleries.
3. Albums: Create and tag albums for event photos to keep them organized.
4. Public Groups: All groups are public and joinable by any registered member.

Scheduled Posts:

• Now you can schedule posts for specific dates and times, and view scheduled posts to avoid duplication.

Bug Fixes & Improvements:

1. Page Loading: Faster reloading on the activity feed by caching images only.
2. Message Icon: Fixed the issue where the message icon showed unread messages even after viewing them.
3. Badges: Temporarily removed for further improvement in Forums, Activity Posts, and Profile Pages.
4. Member Directory: Now shows status icons for active members browsing the website.

Future Updates (Stay Tuned):

1. Facebook Login: Linking your STFTM account with your Facebook account is in the works.
2. Facebook Group Posts: Developing integration to display Facebook group posts on our website.
3. Facebook Marketplace Posts: Exploring ways to pin Facebook Marketplace posts in our forums.
4. Admin & Moderator Permissions: Enhancing permissions for Club Admins and Moderators to manage events, members, forum posts, and more.
5. Vendor Signups/Logins: Vendors will soon be able to create accounts, post products, and offer exclusive deals to club members.
6. Shop: Working on a one-stop shop for all club gear, including flags and accessories for every STFTM chapter.
