Murdered-Out MegaRexx SVN Is A Nine-Seater Excursion Replacement

If Ford kept making the Excursion, this is what it would look like.

MegaRexx, the North Carolina-based creators of the the insane MegaRaptor, have just revealed a nine-seater version of their SVN project. As a reminder, the SVN is based on a Ford F-250 Super Duty with a cap over the bed that transforms it from a pickup truck to an enclosed SUV. Basically, if Ford was building the Excursion today, this is close to what it would look like.

This murdered-out build is based on a 2023 F-250 Lariat, meaning it has most of the luxury features customers demand without the bank-breaking cost of a King Ranch or Platinum. Under the hood sits Ford’s High-Output 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbo-diesel V8 developing a substantial 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. MegaRexx could tune the engine for more power, but it isn’t really necessary. The company does install a Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller to compensate for the large wheels and tires.

To transform a Super Duty into an SUV, MegaRexx installs a hand-formed aluminum roof with custom one-piece deep-tinted rear side glass pieces. Amp Research PowerStep side steps aid access into the heated/ventilated front row or the power captain’s chairs in the second row. The third row also features captain’s chairs, while the fourth row is a bench sourced from an Expedition. Combined, the MegaRexx SVN can seat nine passengers comfortably. MegaRexx even installs additional air conditioning and heating to control the temperature in all four rows.

Passengers will enjoy the SVN Rear Audio Package, which adds four JL Audio Evolution C2 coaxial speakers and a JL Audio TW3 10-inch subwoofer. For additional safety, front and rear dash cameras are installed in the vehicle.

The SVN looks menacing in Agate Black Metallic, which is then enhanced with a Vengeance Series pre-runner front bumper, 20-inch 4WD King LED light bar, two 3-inch x 3-inch Rigid Industries LED flood lights, a Vengeance Series rear bumper, body-color-matched grille, Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender flares, blacked-out Ford emblems, smoked roof clearance lights, and smoked taillights.

The truck sits higher than stock on an Icon Vehicle Dynamics 4.5-inch Stage 3 suspension system with dual-rate front and rear coil springs. Monotube gas shocks handle the dampening, and a 10-position dial allows compression adjustability of from firm to soft.

Having driven a vehicle from MegaRexx, we know few trucks will garner as much attention. That being said, you will have to fork out $170,000 (for the donor truck and up-fitting) to drive a nine-seat SVN.
