Ford Bronco Gets $1,000 Discount Exclusive To Jeep Owners

Customers must own a Jeep no older than the 1995 model year to qualify.

Ford is taking a jab at Jeep by offering Jeep owners as much as a $1,000 discount for a new Bronco – the midsize SUV off-roader brought back in 2021 to take on the Wrangler.

According to CarsDirect, the Jeep Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash is available only in limited regions, including Chicago, New York, and Phoenix. The program provides a $1,000 price cut to the 2024 Bronco and Bronco Sport, meaning the high-performance Bronco Raptor powered by a 418-horsepower twin-turbo V6 is out of the equation. Prospective buyers in Atlanta and Dallas are also eligible for a $500 discount.

To qualify, you must own a Jeep no older than the 1995 model year, so owners of the Wrangler TJ generation should still benefit from the incentive.

Even better, these Jeep owners can keep their Wranglers as the program doesn’t require a trade-in. Ford dealers won’t also ask interested individuals to end their current lease to avail of the discount. The incentive can be transferred, given you and the recipient live at the same address.

Ford dealers can also apply the discount to the remaining stock of 2023 Bronco and Bronco Sport units.

The program may attract Jeep owners to cross-shop and get a new Bronco, but the apparent price bumps should still have them thinking twice. When the Blue Oval company resurrected the nameplate in 2021, the starting price was under $30,000.

Now, the entry-level Bronco starts at $39,130 for the two-door Big Bend variant, with the top-top-spec Bronco Raptor selling for $90,035.

This also appears to be one of Ford’s initiatives to keep sales of the Bronco, along with the Ford Ranger and F-150 Lightning, up following a production change. The company added a third production shift at the Michigan Assembly Plant to keep up with the demand, which created nearly 900 jobs.

The report didn’t mention the duration of the program, but we’ve got to love the friendly competition between these crosstown rivals, which has been going on since the nameplate returned.
