Electric Bronco Golf Carts Have Nothing On Miniature Gas-Powered Ford F-150
The vehicle comes with a green body, lifted suspension, and a custom sound system.
While the three all-electric Ford Bronco golf carts we recently covered look fun to drive on golf courses, this mini Ford F-150 is challenging potential bidders with a similar approach but with good old-fashioned gasoline-fed combustion power.
Mecum Auctions is offering the custom creation, but the auctioneer didn’t disclose how much this golf cart makes. On average, gas-powered golf carts produce around 10 to 15 horses, which should be more than the 6.7-hp output of the abovementioned electric Broncos.
Style-wise, the design appears inspired by the 10th-generation F-150, which ran from 1997 to 2004. The mini vehicle has a green exterior color, a lifted suspension, oversized wheels and tires, and an upgraded sound system with a CD player – if you still own any of those.
The seats are finished in black with gray and neon trimmings, along with white stitching. These may not look as plush as the ones in the electric Bronco golf carts, but future owners should worry less about damaging or soiling them, which should be good for outdoor use.
While we’re not sure if its fuel tank can provide more range than its battery-powered counterpart at full charge, filling this up should be quicker.
The Ford F-150 golf cart is currently on offer at the Kissimmee 2024 Auction, happening until January 14. The mini F-150 joins a long list of special cars looking for a new home, including a rare Chevy V8-powered 1979 Lotus Esprit JPS Edition that pays homage to the British automaker’s glorious Formula 1 days.
